The current solutions that have supported the initial control of the COVID-19 pandemic are new forms of classic public health functions: social distancing and isolation, screening and testing, tracking and tracing, and promoting hygiene practices and behaviors. This presentation will introduce new scientific studies and findings that shed some light on what works and what doesn't in the COVID-19 response, and how long-term public health strategies can best continue to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in the coming months and years.
