My research spans contemporary Latin American politics, neoliberalism and postneoliberalism, citizen participation, deliberation, and democratic innovations, especially at the regional and transnational level.

I am currently part of the Global Solidarity cluster (GlobaLab, 2023-) and the emerging Global Citizens’ Assemblies Network (GloCAN, 2023-).

In the past, I was a researcher at the LATINNO project (Democracy and Democratization Department, WZB Berlin Social Science Center, 2017-2021) and a senior research fellow for the Healthier Democracies project (Public Agenda, New York, USA, 2021-2022).
