Special issue on wealth and inequality published
The december issue of the peer-reviewed journal Social Justice Research contains a special issue co-edited by Patrick Sachweh with Hanna Lierse and Nora Waitkus on "Wealth, Inequality and Redistribution in Capitalist Societies". The issue assembles papers from a variety of methodological and disciplinary perspectives which seek to understand why extraordinarily high levels of wealth inequality are not met with greater opposition and critique. The contributions investigate how wealth inequality in capitalist societies is perceived by citizens and how it is debated in the public and political sphere.
